Alikened to sound of American rock band Evanescence, Black Side Down are a Brisbane based rock band taking Australia by storm - one gig at a time.

Featuring distinctive female vocals, electric riffs and a head-banging beat, Black Side Down are proving a formidable force on the country’s rock scene.

Singer-songwriter and leading muse, Heather Bertoli is no stranger to the Australian music scene and has long performed alongside high-school sweetheart and the bands drummer, Adam. Add to that powerful pairing the energetic showman, Lachlan Scott (Bass) and “riff genius” Timo Lindstrom (Guitar) and you can expect a mind-blowing, original show.

Captivating the music media, Black Side Down have conducted various radio interviews with stations such as 4ZZZFM and can frequently be found playing at Queensland venues such as The Zoo, The Hifi and Mansfield Tavern.

After launching a self-titled EP in 2011, the group is currently recording their new single, which is expected to hit iTunes at the end of the year.
